Need An Onondaga Translation? We Can Help.

Onondaga is the language of the Onondaga First Nation, which is one of the tribes which form the League of the Iroquois. It is a very small language in terms of fluent speakers with an estimate of under 100 speakers today. Onondaga is spoken in the areas surrounding the Six Nations Reserve in Ontario and also in New York state.

The Onondaga language does share similarities with the other Iroquois languages – Cayuga, OneidaMohawk and Seneca, however there are differences which make each language distinct.
